This is a new product from the Rauter Distillery in Germany! Tabu Classic Strong contains three times the thujone than Rauter’s “Tabu 55” absinthe, which is then appr. 2,4 mg/Kg thujone. Classic Strong is produced according to a classic recipe, using only natural ingredients and no artificial colors. It also contains a 6% vermouth extract.
It is not recommended that the beginning absinthe drinker enjoy this straight, but follow the classic ritual of straining over sugar with ice water. The thujone content makes this quite a strong absinthe. The alcohol content of 73% is also very high.
