Atypical for a Czech absinthe, Trul Absinthium 1792 is heavy on the anise. It has a strong herbal flavor, which is dominated by the anise and wormwood. This absinthe is also an unusual Czech in that it louches to a nice green-white tone when mixed with water. The thujone content in this gem is high, coming in at approx. 28 mg/kg.
